“On arrival at the Sanford Orlando Airport there was no indication from where we were to pick up the car and we received conflicting advice from individuals there.??? We eventually discovered we were to pick up our ‘Budget’ car details from ‘Avis’ but none of the info given indicated this. It was hot, we were tired and had no idea what to do.??? The car paid for was ‘luxury’ the car we received was ‘premium.’ The fuel tank was 3/4 and there were scuff marks but no-one to take responsibility for noting this.??? The return was no easier. We had no idea where to return the car and after a lot of walking around found three Avis ‘car jockey’s’ who said leave the car with them after a long debate between the three of them.??? The car’s condition, milage or fuel was not checked. I returned the keys from the Avis office (who acted as agents) and related this story. Still no confirmation we had even brought back the car!??? A good price paid for the car, but was it worth all the hassle, walking around in search of help tired and hot? I don’t think so. Next time I will deal direct with a car hire firm.”?
