Alamo: Booked and paid 4 door compact – arrived to be told had to upgrade ($250) to guarantee 4 door or else accept hit and miss from a pool of cars with unknown doors!!! This despite my having paperwork setting out what I had booked. Pathetic. Hard sell staff, then the usual extra insurance bid for burst tyre and locking out of car (yawn!). My advice, know your insurance needs in advance and stick to your guns.
