Unfortunately our experience fell considerably short of what we had hoped. First, on arrival at the Budget desk in Los Angeles we were told that we had paid for an economy vehicle only – this took over an hour to resolve and only then because a helpful manager looked kindly on us and gave us the benefit of the doubt. We could easily have ended up being forced to accept the economy vehicle, instead of a convertible, for the duration of our stay. Second, we specified a preference for a Mustang convertible (one of the reasons we booked through you), but because Budget had no record of this they were only able to offer a Chrysler. They told us that had they been properly informed of the booking they would have easily been able to arrange a Mustang for us. Third, according to Budget’s records we were dropping the rental vehicle at another office (somewhere near Dallas I think) – again this took more time and hassle to rectify at the time of drop-off.
