I was very happy with the car we were given and it was very good value for money. However – a word of warning – I had booked a Compact car and on arriving at the rental office was questioned as to where I was planning to drive and advised to upgrade to a more powerful car (and to pay the difference). I declined this offer as I believed the car I had ordered to be adequate for my needs. When I reached the parking lot – it transpired that they had no Compact cars and I was therefore given a much bigger car at no added charge. It seems to be their policy to try to get you to pay the extra (the same thing happened to a friend of mine) – so I would advise you not to be persuaded to upgrade to a bigger car unless you really need to (as you may well get one anyway). The sales guy also tried to get me to buy additional PPP insurance by using an inaccurate description of what this insurance was. However – the car we got was excellent and the returns process very efficient.
