We feel that your product/price was misrepresented. Your website says that ALL taxes are included in the price but we were charged airport tax on the fuel that insisted that we pay for on collection. This was not mentioned on your website and we plan to bring this misrepresnetion to the attention of the Office of Fair Trading. Also, Alamo told us that price of the fuel that we had to purchase was competitive compared with what we would find outside – this was simply not true and is clearly just another way of making money. The fact that the customer has to pay for a full tank and return empty is, in itself, a rip off. How can you really return a car absoluately EMPTY. Every quarter of a tank of fuel that you obtain from a returned car is, again, simply profit for you. Yes, your headline price was competitive, however the real cost is somewhat higher than this. Lastly, we asked Alamo what the cost of an additional driver would be and were told $10 a day but your website quotes $5 a day. Another misreprentation.
