We ordered and paid for an Intermediate car for 4 days with Auto Europe. When we arrived at Belfast airport we had to use the Budget desk where we were immediately told that they were going to downgrade us as they had no intermediate cars. We asked if there was a refund and after they phoned Auto-Europe we were told we would have sort this when we returned home. We have made several phone calls emails and written letters and still not rec’d a refund. The car we were given was a Peugot 308 which is classed as a compact car. Had we wanted a compact car we would have booked one and saved ourselves some money. Nobody has ever contacted us. WE WILL NEVER USE AUTO EUROPE AGAIN IT IS THE PRINCIPLE MORE THAN ANYTHING
