There was a problem with the key fob and the locking of the car. The car was unlocked when I collectected the car at 11.30 pm at Tampa Airport. When I arrived at my destination at 1.oo am I was unable to lock the vehicle. The following day I went to the Radio Shack to ask for a new battery for the key fob, only to be told it was broken. I then went to the nearest Budget and explained the problem. I was told it would be better to change the vehicle although he had nothing similar to change. He suggested going to Clearwater Airport where I had difficulty in findinding Budget. I returned to my home and started making telephone calls to Budget late afternoon, I even talked to a call centre in Canada with the problem. Tampa Airport were offering to change the car but the round journey would take over two hours and they were not able to deliver. The following day I went again to Clearwater Airport a journey of just less that 2 hours and changed the car. I was advised to request compensation when I arrived home as the bill had already been paid. Will you please advise me on compensation for the two days of my holiday spent sorting the car.
