As novice to the Car Hire scene in the US my only criticism of the supplier (BudgetI is that they did not run over the do’s and don’ts with the car (Fuel filling, lifting the roof etc) without a manual in the car. We sussed it out pretty quickly but it would have been good to get a quick show around. Also they didn’t explain the system for returning the car – I was concerned about being charged for some minor scuffs on the bumper from a previous hirer but when I returned the car I found Budget already had the details of any damage on computer. Overall I thought 400 quid for a convertible Mustang for 11 days (Including GPS hire, full tank of fuel, full insurances for 2 drivers) to be extremely good value. I’ll definitely use US Rent a Car again and now I know how Budget work will almost certainly use them too.
