I will not rent from AVIS again.
While on personal travel I rented and pre-paid for an AVIS sub-compact car. When I arrived at my destination, the rental agent told me that I was renting a compact car. Being tired, I didn’t check that I was getting the car that I had paid for.
When I returned the car, the AVIS rental agent charged me extra for the compact car. I e-mailed AVIS customer relations about the extra charge and the ambush rental. Their stance is that I signed the contract and I owed them the money.
