I was very happy to find that the car was enabled with Sunpass & Epass at an extra charge of just $1.50pd or $7.50 for the week. On the last day I used this service expecting to be charged the $1.50 plus any tolls that I went through, but was instead told that I would be charged for the whole time that I had the car. The tolls only came to about $3, had I known i would have withdrawn the cash! Very disappointed with that!

Only critisism- we chose & paid for FOUR door ECONOMY (we have a baby so easier) Economy more expensive than Compact…however when we collect we are told that Compact & Econmy are the SAME and unable to guarentee 4 door despite paying extra on this site!

We rented 2 vehicles – a minivan and a full size car. It included a free upgrade to premium size car (and didn’t say "subject to availability") but of course there was no premium size car available. Not very happy with that. Also we were picking up from Budget at Sanford and their desk was difficult to find – there were 2 locations for car rental desks and when you came out with your luggage, Budget was not on any of the signs. The man who served us was quite arrogant, and could have handled the transaction in half the time.

If you advertise a Free upgrade it should be given to you on arrival. The rental company don’t recognise the free upgrade that is quoted on Voucher

The car was available from Alamo at Sandford airport. The car voucher from Alamo stated we had paid for a basic 2 door car when we had paid via US Rent A Car for a premium 4 door car. The error on the paperwork was with Alamo and the staff would not accept this. Currently emailing Alamo of our disastifaction with their pick up procedures.

Upon arrival we were greeted by 1 member of staff who serviced both the Avis and Budget queue’s alternately. Adding upto an hour wait for car allocation. Not what you need after a 9 hour flight. This is not a complaint about the actual member of staff who was doing his best under such conditions.
